This month, we continue the theme of becoming millionaires, learn how to block the noise, a case for Trump and some soft parenting tips
Blinkist is an app, that offers you a summary of the book in 15 minutes or less. I have now taken to listening to "Blinks" in the car after the school run; between client meetings and on my way home.
Here are four of my blinks from this month:
1. Everyday Millionaires - Chris Hogan
How ordinary people built extraordinary wealth. 10 000 American millionaires were asked about their habits, their beliefs and their strategies . There are alot of lies out there about millionaires. It's time to set things straight.
2. Digital Minimalism - Cal Newport
Choosing a focused life in a noisy world. In this book Cal Newport conducted his own experiment 1 600 volunteers followed his guidelines for a month long technology sabatical. The resault of this study is digital minimalism: a way to step back from the onslaught of digital distractions and find a more stratifying and rewarding life
3. The case for Trump - Victor Davies Hanson
How did he do it? Trump faced over sixteen qualified Republicans in the primaries, and went on to lock horns with one of the most skilled political operatives of all times, Hilary Clinton. And yet he still won. A GREAT BLINK TO READ/ LISTEN TO.
4. The book you wish your parents had read (And your child will be glad that you did) - Philippa Perry
This different perspective, focus' on children's psychological and emotional development rather than filling her pages with disciplinerary techniques and parenting hacks.
